DR. SRINI PILLAY

Biography

Dr. Srini Pillay is chief medical officer and co-founder of Reulay, a digital therapeutics company that is developing strategies to delay the onset of cancer, cardiovascular disease, neurodegenerative disease, and stroke by targeting on-demand anxiety and stress reduction based on the well-established link between stress, epigenetics, inflammation, abnormal metabolism, and disease. Reulay’s technology is built on a machine learning platform designed to personalize video, VR, AR, and XR to reduce anxiety and prolong human longevity and can also be deployed in their metaverse programming for web3. Srini graduated as the top overall medical student in South Africa and the top awardwinning resident in Psychiatry at Harvard. He is a former Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Director of the Outpatient Anxiety Disorders Program at Harvard Medical School’s Mclean Hospital. He is also a former brain-imaging researcher at Harvard (17 years), a certified master executive coach and CEO of NeuroBusiness Group®, voted one of the top 20 movers and shakers in leadership development in the world by Training Industry.

Srini has also been a pioneer in the field of transformational neurocoaching®, which provides business leaders with a deep psychological understanding relevant to their personal and professional lives with practical tips, tools, and techniques to enhance leadership development using mindset strategies to decrease stress and anxiety, enhance creativity and agility, facilitate change, and optimize mindsets at times of disruption and transformation. He is on a by-invitation-only national US think tank in psychiatry that focuses on “Disasters and the World” and is also a member of the Transformational Leadership Council. In addition, he is a member of the Consortium for Learning Innovation at McKinsey & Co.

Srini has been/is on the faculties of Harvard Business School, Mobius Executive Leadership, and Duke Corporate Education. His clients include numerous international multilaterals and Fortune 500 companies including Coca Cola, Lockheed Martin, Blue Shield of California, Ernst and Young, Prudential, The United Nations, The World Bank and many others. He is an invited instructor at LinkedIn on 5 video compilations: Depression in the Workplace, Anxiety in the Workplace, Addiction in the workplace, Leveraging Neuroscience in the Workplace and Managing the Post-Pandemic, Anxiety-Triggered Brain. He has a course with ExecOnline with Duke CE on “Leveraging Neuroscience for Team Performance.”

His books include “Life Unlocked: 7 Revolutionary Lessons to Overcome Fear” (Rodale, 2010), “Your Brain and Business: The Neuroscience of Great Leaders” (FT Press, 20110, and “Tinker Dabble Doodle Try: Unlock the Power of the Unfocused Mind” (Ballantine Books, 2017.) His books have been translated into eight languages. Dr. Pillay has lectured throughout the world including the US, Canada, UK, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Romania, Greece, India, Singapore, and Brazil.

Apart from these endeavors, Dr. Pillay has recently completed writing a musical, designed a fashion show, continues his work in biotechnology across cancer, heart disease, stroke and neurodegenerative companies and is working on an idiographic approach to longevity in the metaverse.

DR. UMA NAIDOO

Biography

Dr. Uma Naidoo is a Harvard trained nutritional psychiatrist, professional chef, nutritional biologist and author of the national and international bestseller: “This is Your Brain on Food.” Her most recent best-selling book is “Calm Your Mind with Food.”

The late Michelin-starred chef David Bouley described Dr. Uma Naidoo as the world’s first “triple threat” in the food and medicine space as the nexus of her interests have found their niche in Nutritional Psychiatry. Her first book has already been published in 23 countries and 19 languages.

Dr. Naidoo founded and directs the first and only hospital-based Nutritional Psychiatry Service in the USA. She is the Director of Nutritional, Lifestyle and Metabolic Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital & Director of Nutritional Psychiatry at the MGH Academy while serving on the faculty at Harvard Medical School.

She serves as a regular media contributor at CNBC and is on the New Frontiers of Nutrition committee at The World Economic Forum. She is also on a United Nations task force for mental health.

After being one of only four US physicians to be invited to meet personally with the former HRH The Prince of Wales, now King Charles III, she was asked to lead a public health Food for Mood Campaign with the UK College of Medicine, where she serves as the US Ambassador for Mental Health. She is an Instructor on MasterClass.

She designed and released the first and only CME based educational program at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard to educate other clinicians globally about nutrition for brain health. Dr. Uma has appeared as a Nutritional Psychiatry expert on Live with Kelly & Ryan, Today Show, 700 Club, ABC, and been featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Thrive Global, Harpers, Shape, Parade, Boston Globe, AARP, and more.
